Urban Decay make-up for the day

So the past two days i've been trying out my urban decay naked palette! Love it so much already!

I've been trying to co-ordinate the shadows with the clothes i'm wearing, yesterday I wore my Pink jumper you've seen in my last blog and wore the shadows 'Toasted' & 'Hustle'

and today I wore a grey jumper! (same jumper, different colour, haha) and I wore the shadow 'Virgin' on the lid and 'Gunmetal' in the crease.

Here's a few pics:

Excuse the rough hair and make-up pics this was taken after work, 8 hours later the shadow still looked pretty good!

it's the weekend!

A few things i've collected over the weekend :P

I went to town today & couldn't find ANYTHING I liked, went into H&M literally 10 minutes before it closed and managed to find some loooovely stuff! I got his really cute kind of dusty pinky brown jumper for £12.99, They do them in a few shades like Cream etc. & I really love this, I haven't been able to find a good jumper to suit me in so long because of my curvy body shape, so when I tried this on I was so happy haha!

I also got this really awesome dream catcher necklace to go with its, it was pretty pricey for H&M jewellery, It was £5.99 but I love the size of it and the feathers, I think it's a proper statement necklace! As you can see below close up:

I got this Grey nail polish when I was paying at the till in H&M! I quickly saw it and grabbed it, H&M do pretty good nail polishes and I've really wanted a grey one so I got this for £2.99!

FINALLY my naked palette arrived! After weeks of waiting it's finally here! I managed to find one reeeeeally cheap on eBay as they've sold out all over the UK! I got it or £33, which is £1 more than they were retailing for PLUS now it's sold out the other ones on eBay are going for up to £90! Mental! I was really lucky!

Here's what it looks like inside :) The seller I bought it from was selling the first edition of them, with the eye-liners instead of the brushes, they stopped selling these because it got soooo high demand it took too long for them to make them with the eye-liners, and they had to change them to the brushes, which is another thing i'm glad about! I'd rather have the eye-liners!

As you've seen in my blog before I've already tried out the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, I have  little tester & I really like this product! So it's great to have a proper bottle!

Here's what the eye-liners are like! They glide on really soft and you get the Black colour 'Zero' and the Brown colour 'Whiskey'

& here's the back with all the shades of the eyeshadows!

Bits & Bobs this week :)

My cross ring arrived from Dainty Dolly Mix today :) You can find her stuff here: http://www.daintdollymix.com

It's so nice and it's cheaper than most ones you'll find out and about or online at the moment, it's £6. Also adjustable so I can fit it to both my fingers which is PERRRRFECT for me because my fingers are between sizes! I would highly recommend all Dainty Dolly Mix's stuff, As you may have seen in a previous post I purchased my Scrabble Ring from her :)

I also got this which arrived yesterday, Purchased it on eBay for £11, It's the 10ml version of Benefit's Garden of Good & Eva. I love this perfume SOOO much, it proper sticks to my skin so it keeps the fragrance all day, It's a very spring inspired perfume I thing and is the cutest little bottle too!

I bought this Garnier 2 in 1 Make-up remover on superdrug a few days ago, Just because it was the only 2 in 1 eye & face make-up remover on there as I normally use L'Oreal face wipes, and they never seem to take off my make-up fully, which I think is making me break out a lot. I was a bit worried about buying this, I bought it online, and I have such sensitive skin I just thought when it arrived it was just going to irritate it! But it didn't! It's soo perfect for my skin, Literally just feels like water, takes off alllllll of my waterproof mascara aswell with just one swipe, and keeps my skin super soft. 5/5, definately! It was reduced in the sale from I think about £3.50 ish to £1.49!

Ok so this looks like a mess a bit but it's cause I love it so much i've destroyed it by using it all the time haha! I purchased this from elf probably about a week or two weeks ago now, It's the ELF Eyebrow Kit in Ash and it's £3.50. It's a really awesome product & has completely replaced my eyebrow pencil, on the left you have the eyebrow gel which you put on with the angled end of the two sided brush to define the brows, and the on the right you have the powder which you use with the blending end of the brush to set the colour and fill in any gaps. it's really good & gives such a natural but really defined look, It comes in 4 colours from Ash to Dark Brown. A+!

To add a bit more to my ELF collection I got the Elf Stipple Brush that every is talking about, for my blush and contouring. I DEFINATELY understand what everyone it saying about this brush! the bristles feel so silky soft and the shape of it when you look of it front on actually has a diamond sort of angled shape so it's really good for contouring. I love this!

and the last bit of ELF i've got for you guys is the ELF cream eyeliner with angled brush. I've never had anything like this before but it is really awesome, I thought it was going to be so difficult to do the winged eye look with a brush and gel but it is actually BETTER, the eyeliner takes to the brush very very easily so I was a bit shocked on how thick it went on when I tried it for the first time! I love the brush that comes with it which is why I decided to get this one and not some of the other cream eyeliner's out there, because it's angled it does the wing eye perfectly, this was only £3.50 and it's my dupe for Mac's fluidline liner, considering you get the brush included too it's an aaaaaaaamazing price!

I've already shown you guys this but this is the Sleek Contour Kit in Light, Just thought I'd show a pic of what it looks like inside, Again, I apologize for what a mess of it I've made already! I love this stuff, after using it the past week it drastically makes my chubby hamster cheeks look smaller and more defined so I love this!

Yeeeeees so I got the Pink version of this Primark top, As you've already seen in my previous blog, & I loved it SOOO much I decided to get the Grey version from the same Seller on ebay! It's a bit big so it looks more oversized than the other one as she only had one size left of the grey! But I love it and the colour is very me!

Last thing left is the Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo, This RRP's at £5.20 ish but I got this on eBay for £3 !  This arrived today but I tried it out tonight after seeing good ratings for this on Boots.com & I have to agree with this ratings, After the first night I already feel a difference, It feels really nice just PUTTING it on the hair and the smell is loooovely, Thinking of buying the conditioner next!

collective haul & OOTD

*Todays outfit of the day!*

I'm in love with my new denim jacket and my Primark pink & lace top! The primark top only came today and it's amazzzzing! (I say it came today because they're sold out everywhere & I found it online!) I got mine on Ebay, It was £17 which is about £9 MORE than they sell it in shops but I neeeeded this item! If you really like this and are willing to pay £17 then you can get it here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Primark-Pink-Cream-Lace-Top-2011-Spring-Collection-UK14-/200586008229?pt=Women_s_Clothing&hash=item2eb3db96a5

The seller does them in 14s & 16s, and a grey version of the top in a size 20!. So if you're any size you can get away with them really, they run smaller anyway and they're styled to be oversized so i doesn't matter if you're a size 8 I think you could get away with it!

Everything else i'm wearing in this pic is:
Russian Red Lipstick - MAC - £12.15 (Debenhams sale! Originally £13.50!)

Today I Bought a loveeeerly new leather jacket from Store Twenty One :) £28, people never think to look in there because it's not the big high street shops like New Look, Topshop, H&M etc. But I always give it a go and hey ho found this nice jacket! You can find the jacket here: http://www.storetwentyone.co.uk/coats/bomber-jacket/invt/a02439/

Got these cute little primark charms for my charm bracelet! £1!

After my success with the VO5 surf spray I decided to go get a back up for when mine ran out, and they don't sell it in there anymore!!! D: But I did find this, Wave Spray from Scandalous, never heard of the company before but the description on the bottle was exactly like the Surf Spray so I thought I'd get it! £3.50 ish reduced from Superdrug. Find it here: http://www.superdrug.com/styling-product/scandalous-rock-chick-wave-spray-150ml/invt/219313/

And last but not least I got this amazingggg laddered top from Primark for £8. They do them in Cream, Black and Blue I think, Cream was my fave so thought i'd get it! But they are soo comfy and quite flattering!

Just a few :) Been buying MAD online so I will have more to come soon also!

lush's grease lightning, week 1!

The other day I decided to go to Lush and buy the Grease Lightning spot treatment gel.

I saw it on another beauty blogger's youtube 'Theuglyfix' and she advised it was really good, so i decided to try it out! I've used it just TWO nights in a row after a shower now and i've got to say,so far, it is truly something else, the other day I had a spot right on my nose, and when I woke up the next day, it was gone. My spots never disappear THAT fast! It doesn't irritate or 'cool' the skin like a lot of spot gels and it's just perrrrrfect for me! I will buy again! and I will also let you guys know how it goes in a few weeks time & if my skin has gotten better!

daintydollymix: personalized scrabble ring!

I'm loving the whole Scrabble Rings trend at the mo! So far Dainty Dolly Mix I think does some of the best ones! Mine arrived today, I asked for an L cause well, obviously, L for Lozz haha., it's lussssh & comes in a cute bag :) You can find it HERE <-- Clickity click!

my own illamasqua toxic nature collection - purity duplicate polish!

So I've been literally in love with the new Illamasqua Toxic Nature Collection, and especially the nail polish 'Purity' but it's £13.50 and I can't spare that much for a polish! So I decided to go dupe hunting and managed to find a preeeettty close match!!! I found this Beauty UK Glam Nails polish in Peach Melba which is suchhh a lovely nude colour, the only difference I would say to Purity is Purity seems to have more white tones in it whereas Peach Melba has more Peach tones so it's got more of an orangey colour to it, but it's fab and I love it already and only £1.99 from Superdrug! cannot find it on the Superdrug website so go into the store and see if they do it near you for a cheap dupe :) orrrr you can also buy from here: http://www.beautyukcosmetics.com/products/nails/nail-varnish-salon-professional but it's 50p more exp! You need about 2 coats to get the colour from the bottle but it is fab! I also got a teeny tiny bottle of nail polish remover and a tiny bag of cotton wool pads haha, cause they're cute and my mum got fed up of me stealing hers :P

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder Shade #51

Bought the Bourjois Delice de Poudre bronzing powder the other day, On sale at the moment so grab the bargain! (£6.99 down to £5.99 in Superdrug, online and in store!)

It looks like a chocolate bar and smells like one too! Aweeesome. The colour is good but i'm still gathering my bearings and learning how to properly use bronzer so I think because I like being quite pale it's better to use a smaller amount, I don't use it all over my face just really to try and highlight lightly on my forehead and chin and the bottom of my cheeks to define. Still not sure if the whole bronzer thing suits me but it is one of the best so If you love bronzer you have to get this!

17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer

I got this 17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer, as I really wanted a good value one that would work with my skin type so I don't break out! I found this one on Boots website for £4.99, it had 18 reviews which on average gave the item 5 stars so it gave me a good idea on whether it was good or not! Luckily I had £6 on my advantage card & went to get this, i've used this for the past 2 days and I can honestly say I think it is good, it makes your skin extra soft and does keep quite a lot of the makeup, I don't think it makes it look any different but it pro longs it but still doesn't keep all of it on but my make-up has a bad habit of going really streaky and oily and wearing this it did minimise the oilyness so It does improve but for my skin I couldn't expect wonders anyway! So if you've got great skin this would be perfect, if you've got oily and spotty skin like me it will only improve it!

VO5 Extreme Style Surf Spray

I LOVE having curly or wavy hair, & I literally hate having it straight nowadays but recently i've been on a hunt to find different and quicker ways of having it curly or wavy without having to spend an hour or longer curling it.

So I was recently advised by my Mum that my elder sister when she was younger & wanted the same wavy style had this Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, which gives you the beach surf hair look. So I googled and found it was around £18 for this, & me and my mum also couldn't find anywhere in my hometown that did it, so this would be postage aswell! Luckilyyy after travelling to a hairdressers to see if they advised anything else for this look one of the assistants suggested just getting mouse so we thought we'd given up with the surf spray hunt, but we went into superdrug to look for mouse and hey ho we found the VO5 Extreme Style Surf Spray, for only £3/£4!!

I purchased it yesterday and I used it today and it's actually pretty good, I've put some on my hair tonight also whilst I put it in pigtails to hopefully boost the waves whilst I sleep as I start my new job tomorrow and won't have time to curl it in the morning!

Here's a piccy I took earlier on after it had dried and set, it did pretttttty good waves! Excuse the scribble face but I look terrible with no make-up haha.

Buy my stuff!

If you're interested in getting some cheap fashion/beauty stuff, I've got 2 items up for sale at the moment,

The Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation 103 True Ivory

and some Patent Leather Brogues Size 6 Primark

So go ahead and bid if you're interested!

New Faves & Recent Buys - Late Feb/Early March!

I've purchased even moreee in the past couple days, So I need to blog what I've got and also a review of some of the item's I have purchased.

Basically, I purchased a retractable pink Ms Makeup blusher/bronzer brush from Boots and it was like £8.16? Very pricey for a brush, and when I started using it at home it felt horrrrrid and the bristles was so rough on my skin and simply would not soften! So my sister advised me to get a cheap brush instead from H&M as she uses them and never had a problem, I bought this short handled bronzer brush from H&M for £2.99, I think they also sell this brush on their website, The brush is soft and really good, I love it and wish I would of gotten this one first!!!

I recently purchased this yesterday, this is a QVS Foundation Brush from Superdrug for £4.78, http://www.superdrug.com/make-up-tools/qvs-foundation-brush/invt/166758/

I originally got the Superdrug own brand foundation brush for £3.99 the day before that but I took it home, undid the wrapping and the stick came apart from the head right when I pulled it out! So I returned it and paid a bit more for this one and it's so much better! The superdrug own brand one has bristles that were a bit too soft to apply foundation where are this QVS one is soft, but slightly stiffer than the superdrug one and will most probably get easier to use the more I use it! I recommend this for a cheap buy, I was using sponges before to apply my foundation and didn't realize it was barely going on my skin because it was just soaking it all up into the sponge, whereas with the brush it applies nice and thick and is a lot better to use!

I got this eyeshadow due from H&M after buying the Biscotti Dreams palette the other week, since I had so much success with the previous palette I thought this would be good, Little did I know, This eyeshadow seems to have some kind of glittery tint and feels like it's got some slight bit of cream shadow to it rather than a solid powder shadow, and It was just running down my face, Did not work well at all, I will stick to the other palettes rather than these ones for me! The pro side is that the colours are an awesome mix together though and if you think this eyeshadow could work for you, They have these in store for £1.99 and also on the website I think?

And here we come to MUA! This has been such a buzz around the blogging world recently on whether this 'everythings £1' make-up brand was good or not, I got the MUA blusher in Shade 1, which you can find here: http://www.superdrug.com/blusher/make-up-academy-blusher-shade-1/invt/204748/

It was pretty good colouring but I felt like I needed to layer it up several times, and it was very very powdery and was literally falling apart and getting all over my hands whilst trying to get some of the blusher on the brush! So i'm not really sure If I like this blusher!

So finallllly my MAC Russian Red lippy arrived, I have yet to try it on, but the colour in person is more epic than seen online, I will have to try this out and let you guys know what I think!

Got this cuteeee little cosmetics bag from H&M (which is where I get pretty much all of my make-up bags!) for £3.99, bittttt pricey for it's size, but it's so floral and I think it's just perrrrfect for Spring! love it :)

Here's MUA's Nail Varnish in Shade 4, which you can find here: http://www.superdrug.com/make-up-academy-nail-polish-shade-4/invt/204794/

I actually really like this, After not having much luck with the blusher I was glad the Nail Varnishes is good! This comes out as a nice coral colour which I love because I haven't had a nail polish this colour before, I'm wearing it as i type! The nail varnish comes on suprisingly thicker than some £5 + nail varnishes I've had in the past so I would recommend MUA for their nail varnishes! Plus they have quite a few nice colours, I'm tempted by the pale mint green colour they have at the moment!

So yet again I'm talking about my fashionology earrings, I wore these for the first time today and I love love love them, They look so awesome and in your hands they feel like they are going to be pretty heavy on your ears but when I had them on they were not heavy at all! These were €16 (& with postage came to about €19.95 or something? so this worked up altogether to be 16.97 in British pounds) from Fashionology.NL, You can find them here: http://www.fashionology.nl/Webwinkel-Product-1711531/VERY-LARGE-CROSS-EARRINGS.html

I actually got this little belt to go with my cross earrings as I didn't have anyyy belts with a silver buckle, They were all gold! It's just a patterned black skinny belt from Primark for £1 But I really like it it's adorable!

I am sooo in love with this jacket as i love the jersey hood on it, Just purchased it today in town, It was in the sale in New Look for £20 down from £29.99, So not a bad deal! You can get one either in this lighter colour or a darker denim colour, which you can find online here: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jackets-and-coats/jersey-hood-denim-jacket_207676240

This top is gorgeous, As previously blogged before it's £7.99 from H&M, You can get it in this colour or in white with black writing instead (which my sister has!), I love the whole style of the tie up tops this season so I love this and got a lovely denim 70's inspired high waisted skirt to wear with it!

I'm loving blouses lately, So i decided to buy something from Topshop for the first time in like fooorever cause it's so expensive :( This is a mustard shade of yellow and I was so nervous about getting it as due to having blonde hair I find it very difficult to pull off yellows but this top looks awesome on and I got a little beige coloured top to wear underneath it as it's really sheer and seethrough, I purchased it for £38 here: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=2292740&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=yellow%20chiffon&pageSize=20

Last thing I've purchased recently, I got it just before TK Maxx closed tonight for £19.99, It's a French Connection top and it was reduced from £40!! I love the cowl neck on this and it's great to tuck into a high waisted skirt, Probably the thing that attracted me most to this was the grey and the purple colours, which rrrrreally remind me of Henry Holland, who is one of my faveeee designers, it's just fab!

I got this pair of court heels from New Look for £15.99, They are the comfiest heels I own since I cannot walk in anyttthing with a heel but this is the ONLY exception ahah! It has a lovely suede outer and also had a suede feel inside so it kind of cushions your feet and doesn't hurt them as much as the leather inner soles in a lot of heels now a days, the heel is a cute little cone heel so it's hard to fall over in them really, and the strap around them is just an elastic strap so it keeps your foot in place! I love them so if you struggle with heels, you should buy these!, You can find them here: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/wide-fit-shoes-and-boots/elastic-strap-court-shoe_215417701?productFind=search

I got this cute vintage style necklace cushion from Primark for £4, My room has white furniture and I have black bedding with 2 black cushions so the white cushion in contrast looks amazing! such a great find from Primark!

& last but not least I got this shoulder bag today from Primark for £5, It's a kind of suede feel black and has an oval clip to open it, When you open it it's actually reeeeally big inside which will come in really handy for me for nights out!

So that's pretty much it, took me a whole hour to get this one blog done! Mental!!

Enjoy kiddos :)
