Weekly Buys!

Coral Flutter Top - Yayer - £7.00 (sale price from £23)

I've never ordered anything from Yayer before but I first heard about it on LLYMLRS' blog, It was a bit expensive for me (being a bargain hunter myself!), quite similar to Topshop pricing, but they had some really nice items in the sale at the moment, and I thought this top would be nice as I loved the buttons going up the back. Yayer charges £3 for delivery which isn't too bad, the sizes range from around a 6-14 and possibly a 16 but i'm not entirely sure! and they also sell vintage items too.

Black Dress - H&M (only in store) - £7.99

I saw this when I went shopping a few weeks ago to Plymouth, and thought looking at it on the hanger, 'nah, no way, that would not look nice on me'! Then I saw it again on Jennie's blog in a different colour, and thought It might look better on then it does off. So yesterday I stumbled across it in store again and decided to try it on, and I was actually really pleased with it! It's nice and flowy and doesn't cut in at the wrong places, I thought it would be ideal for my new job because it's plain and it isn't short! For £7.99 I think it's a bargain!

Black Patent Skinny Belt - H&M (only in store) - £2.99

I wasn't planning on buying another belt, but I saw this and I just thought it was really dainty and nice to go with the black dress I got also because the dress is a bit wide and looks better cinched in at the waist! They also did this in Blue & Green (as far as I know), but i'm boring so I didn't have the guts to get a bright colour :P

6 Pack Stud Earrings - H&M - £1.99

I originally saw these online, and I was going to buy them for the black studs, because I have some large black circle ones, which are my faaaave pair of studs, but they are a bit big and I was thinking of getting some to wear to work so they needed to be a bit smaller, so I thought I'd get these when I was in town, I also really like the square shaped ones, and I think it's great that you get all 6 for £1.99 aswell!

10 pack stacking rings - H&M - £2.99

I just wanted a plain gold thin band ring, and I did buy one on eBay from Hong Kong that took aaages to arrive, and then I wore it ONCE, ended up with a green mark on my finger and the ring had turned to a horrible copper colour so I had to chuck out that one and find a replacement! So I found this lovely mix & match pack in store and at the moment I'm loving wearing 5 on each hand as thumb rings, it looks really nice!

Claw/Birds foot Necklace - H&M (only in store) - £3.99

I love this so much! I thought It was gorgeous and HAD to get it! I think it really opens up the door to wearing both gold & silver jewellery at the same time! In terms of length It comes just below the chest area so it's not like the extra extra long chains that I'm used to but it goes really well with my black H&M dress!

i-Divine Eye Shadow Palette in Storm - Sleek Makeup - £6.49

I've never bought any palettes from Sleek before but I've heard great reviews about them, and especially this one, Storm. I thought It would suit me the best because I loveee neutral eyeshadows at the moment, it's all I wear because I have Hazel coloured eyes and I think it suits really well! I'm really impressed by how pigmented these colours are and it's nice to have a few different shades that I don't in my Urban Decay Naked Palette!

True Colour Lipstick in shade Bare All - Sleek Makeup - £3.99 (in Superdrug, on the website it says it's £4!)

I saw this in Superdrug yesterday and thought It looked sooo nice! I like how Sleek states what finish their lipsticks are, because not many do besides MAC and other higher end brands, This is a Matte lipstick, and I'm not a huge fan of Matte lippys, but this one applies really well, it is a little drying so I use a bit of a Vaseline underneath but the shade is really different from anything else I have and I find it stays for quite a long time! Have a look at a few more images of the shade: here.

Hope you liked today's post!

Primark Haul!

Ok so today I went a bit primark crazy! I only went in there to get some work clothes for my new job, and ended up finding only one dress and loooots of other random stuff I didn't need ahaha :P In total I spent £56 but later worked out that some of the stuff was reduced and didn't say so on the tag, and also one item wasn't scanned through so I got for free! Yaaaay :)

here's the cape top I accidently got for free haha! I'm not reeeeally fond of it on, I got it really oversized because I prefer it that way and I still don't like it too much :/ But oh well it was free :P This was £8.00.

This is the dress I got for my new job :) It was £10 on the hanger and I went to the till and turns out it was £5!

I got this top just as a casual thing for £6, Arms are a bit too tight! and there wasn't a tag on it so not sure whether to try and take it back or not!

I really like this top! It's really flowy, a beautiful colour and doesn't show any lumps or bumps, but the only downside is it's sleeveless which I really don't like! so I'm trying to find the right cardigan to go with it! This was £8.00

I got this little black satchel for work and going out cause it's quite dainty and cute and has a nice sized strap, This was £7.00

This bracelet I got for £2.50, It's really hard to get on but I love the gold and black and also has a little tassel on the end.

These Ombre/Dip dye tassel earrings were £1.50 and I looooooove them!

and last but not least, these Triangle 'aztec' inspired earrings I've seen circling around youtube and blogs at the moment were £2, They are gorgeous!

I did buy a few other things but they were really plain and boring so didn't think I'd include pictures :P
I got:
Black Leggings : £3
Primark 4 in 1 Face Wipes : £1
100 Denier Black Tights x2 : £2.50 each
Black strappy layering top : £2
Hair bun donut : £1
PJ Set : £7
PJ Seperates Top: £3
PJ Seperates Bottoms : £2 (were £4 but was cheaper at till!)

That's all for today :)

Unboxing Glossybox! July 2011 - Ready Steady Glow!

This morning I received my first ever GlossyBox! If you don't know what GlossyBox is it's a sort of 'product' subscription, A luxury sample & product miniature service, where each month they will send you 5 products (mostly samples but sometimes you're lucky enough to get a full sized product!) for the bargain price of £10 (this will be changing soon to £12.95 due to delivery prices). This is my first month, I signed up in late may but because they are in such high demand I could not get mine until July but I think it was well worth the wait!

I thought I would unbox my Glossybox for the blog!

(covering up my address with a coaster haha!)

If you can read the writing in the picture you will see this month's glossy box is called 'Ready Steady Glow' so it's all about 'The products you need to get in the mood for fun in the sun!'

Glossybox state:
"Summer. That time of year when 'Girls just wanna have fun'. Which is why this month's GlossyBox is packed with products that are all about doing just that"

The packaging is really gorgeous! From the box they post it in to the detailing inside with the card & the bow etc!

The Illamasqua Powdered Metal for Face/Body in shade Ether -
My favourite product has to come first! This is a full size product, I love this, it's shimmery and glowy, blends in really well, I think I'd normally use this as a Highlighter, as all my highlighters are pink shades and this would be the first gold! This retails at £22.50 and you can find it on the Illamasqua website:

The Ciate Paint Pot Long Lasting Nail Enamel in shade Mojito -
I've never used Ciate products before, But I have read good reviews about them! I love this spring green shade and I'm really happy with it!  This is also a full sized product. I noticed a few people receive GlossyBox's where they got Yellow or Blue etc. I'm not a massive fan of yellow on nails because it always seems to stain mine! But I don't actually have any green shades so this will be a nice addition to my collection! I also love the little bow! This retails at £9.00 and you can find it on the Ciate website:

The WELEDA Pomegranate Regenerating Body Oil -
I'm still not entirely sure If I will use this as I just can't use oil on my skin without it ending in a disaster! I have never used any products from this company before either! However, WELEDA state:

"Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Body Oil contains only pure plant oils, rich in essential fatty acids and anti–oxidising vitamins which help to support natural hydration and regeneration processes of the skin, leaving it more elastic, smooth and supple. Suitable for vegans."

I'm quite intrigued to see if this works as it's main goal is to 'indulgently firm and renew' your skin!

This is a full sized product and retails at £19.95

You can find this on the WELEDA website:

Ultrasun Face 30 -
This product is basically sun protection for the Face, 30 SPF. Perfect for on holiday or at the beach, it's a miniature product.
"Ultrasun's special Liposome Formula protects skin from UV Induced ageing. Apply it once a day for water-resistant sun protection that moisturises, too. Perfect for face, neck, décolleté and hands, formulated without emulsifiers, fragrances or oil to reduce prickly heat."
This will come in really handy for me because I always need high protection on my face! A 50ml version of this product retails at £19.00 and you can find this on Ultrasun's website:

Orla Kiely Eau De Parfum -
This is a sample product of this perfume. To explain it I'd say its a florally, spring sort of scent, much like all the perfumes I loveeeee which is why I really like this one! It states that the perfume has natural extract of rose geranium and bergamot, which are subtly balanced with fresh fig and a hint of chocolate. A full size version of this product retails at £42 (for 60ml) and £55 (for 100ml), you can find this on Orla Kiely's website:

Just a few things

Last weekend I went for a realllly fancy meal with my family, as I mentioned in my last post!

(Fancy dessert!)

I was surprised by being given a set of Swarovski Bangles as a present, & I am in loveee with them!

Both bangles are gorgeous! They are called the 'Melrose' Bangle set,

and this is what Swarovski say about them:
"This set of two rhodium-plated bangles offers a hint of the latest black and white trend. Each one is embellished with three sparkling Jet Hematite or clear crystals in bezel setting. Wear this piece of jewellery with the matching earrings for a modern, on-trend look."

I also got a few testers in the gift bag from Swarovski. The tester of the 'Aura' perfume, which I have to say is beautiful, I want to buy it but it's a bit pricey! It's a really nice floral & fresh scent.

I also a crystal highlighter tester which is very very shimmery! Not sure If I will use this, but if you like glitter you will like this!

I recently purchased the E.L.F Eyebrow Lifter & Filler in shade Ivory/Medium, I actually got this from Natalie's blog sale, she was selling for a bargain price of £1.00! I've been eyeing this up for a while now but couldn't get it because it was sold out on the ELF website. I purely got this as a back up for when my MAC eyebrow pencil runs out. I love the colour of the filler part, but the only downside is the size of the pencil, it's really hard to draw on because the pencil is so big! Still not entirely sure what to do with the lifter part yet!

I purchased these 'religious' style bracelets from ALDO last week, I don't have an ALDO store anywhere near me but ALDO had free delivery on the website at the time, and you could also get 10% off your first order when you signed up for the VIP list. I got these bracelets from the mens section! They are called 'WESLER' and were £7.00 for the set (I got them for £6.30 with 10% off)

They no longer have these bracelets but they do have a similar set in brown shades called 'RHOTEN' which you can find:

Lastly I thought I'd put in a few pictures from this week, I stayed at my boyfriends house from Sunday 'til Tuesday as he's currently moving house so I went over to help out. I brought my MASSIVE red overnight bag as you can see in the pictures and I purchased the August edition of Glamour magazine, I was hoping I'd still be able to get the July version with the Benefit items but sadly I was too late! I got the August edition anyway just for something to read and got a free 'Your Personal Horoscope' book, It's such a good little freebie, I believe quite a bit into Star signs & Horoscopes & I was reading it with my mum last night and she was freaked out about how it relates to us and people we know!

That's all for now :)
